Following POPs testing under the auspices of ICER, on 11th June 2020, the EA published a number of guidance documents detailing the classification requirements to take POPs into account:

• Classify different types of waste – overview
• Classify different types of waste – WEEE
• Classify some waste electrical devices, components, and wastes from their treatment
• Identify and dispose of waste containing persistent organic pollutants
